Answer the Call to Adventure!

For those starting their quest, we’re here to help you get started with creating a character and learning the core rules of the game.

Hero Finder

Our narrative approach to selecting your D&D class enables you to begin storytelling right away! You’ll be asked one question at a time. Select your choice by clicking the link, which will take you to the next stage of your journey.

At the end, we’ll recommend a class and explain how it plays, and why people like or dislike it. If this matches, then you’ve found your hero! If you’re not sure, it’s easy to begin again.

Explainer Videos
(Coming Soon)

We introduce you to one term at a time, then show you how it works in an actual play scenario featuring a DM, player, dice, and minis.

Unlock Your Inner Storyteller

The printable tools below are everything you’ll need to blaze a trail and become a legend.

Character Key

Our Character Sheet provides exactly what you need to play and organizes information based on how you use it.

With just two pages, it helps you focus on the epic story you’re creating.

There are two templates: one for martial characters, and one for spellcasters.

Build Your Deck

Our spell cards are color-coded by level, and they present information in a standardized order.

We also have cards with landscape (horizontal) orientation for features, traits, feats, and even magic items!

Decision Guide

After the DM asks “what do you want to do?,” our Decision Guide suggests questions to ask and activities to try.

The Combat side helps you track the action economy for Dungeons & Dragons Fifth edition, too! The icons on each side make it user-friendly, supporting your creativity.
